Rating (TrueSkill)

What it is: A skill estimate that reflects how strong a player is based on who they beat and lose to. Higher = stronger.

How it works: Everyone starts from the same baseline. After each game, winners' ratings go up and losers' go down — more when the result is an upset.

Rating formula: Rating = Skill - 3 × Uncertainty

  • Skill — estimated average skill level. Higher is better.
  • Uncertainty — how confident the system is. Lower means more confident. Decreases as you play more games.

We show a "conservative" rating so the order is stable and not skewed by few games. The table is sorted by this rating.
