There are 2 cones at the head of 2 lines.
When you get to the front of the line, the person at the front of the other line is now you partner for this session.
First choose a court that has no one serving. If people are playing on the court, go to that court and wait for the to finish. That way you are ready to serve immediately after the play is over.
If you succeed in beating the kings, that is 1 point.
Then, score as many points as you can as Kings.
Once you are done, immediately go to the scorepad WITH your partner, and add the points to your name.
missed serves count as a point
Then, get back in line and start all over again (with a new partner this time)
There will be 2 rounds of Kings with a 5 minute break in between
Your score is used to pair you with the player next to you for the playoffs.
1st and 2nd are a team, 3rd and 4th, 5th and 6th, etc.
Usually we take the top 32 in a 4 court tournament.
